It's a self imposed rule. When I bought my upright I decided to limit my electrics to only two. Maybe I should get a third and that way each one of my kids will inherit one nice instrument

I have 3 in their 30's (ugh!!!) and they still show up in various combinations to almost every performance. My oldest even went on tour with me a couple of years ago. Makes a papa proud. I wouldn't trade those times for anything. (However, probably would have been cheaper to hire a road crew )

Alright no pics no newborn and bass so to prove both I have newborn, newborn and brothers, new sadwosky and its brothers. Newest is mad because firstborn just called dibs on the Sadowsky. Also the Nordstrand has a sadowsky pre.

I have 4 Sadowsky basses and only 2 kids, but, I have 2 NYC's and 2 Metros, so maybe I can "bend the rules" a bit.

My son starts college in the fall... SCARY!! My daughter still has a couple years of high school left.

My son with "his" M5-24... Got a NYC 5-24 for his sister and waiting on a Vintage 5 for the dog....

My wife just got a polo horse... hmmmm I feel the need for a 5-24 Vintage to rectify the household balance...
