Absolutely DO NOT let anyone try to talk you into putting a tort guard on your bass. It is just perfect with the mint guard.

It's actually an NYC and it pre-dates the Metro line. Roger used a Tokyo neck on it but did all the fret/finish work on the neck in his shop. It's tagged NYC (not Metro) and was one of the best Sadowskys I've ever owned.

Thanks!! I was thinking to order with an extra tort guard, but this is how I like it originally, that is why I ordered this one without the tort.
