Just went to the web site, and the picture has a time stamp of April 4, 2007. I would imagine that was probably close to the build time, and I think nenor's estimations are also good, lending more credence to this, but if you wanna' know for sure, just open the electronics cavity. Most times they put the build time in there on the back of the cover. Otherwise, you can always email and ask too. :)

Thanks guys. I was just curious as to a general timeframe.

Vic, I'd open it up if I owned it. :D It's in the works possibly.

Played the PJ-R in worship this morning with the new Nordstrand-based Sadowsky pickups and a new set of Lo-Riders. I am REALLY close to a full-blown declaration that it's simply a better bass than the SC JJ. I've a SERIOUS man crush on the thing. I'm just sayin'.

The Norstrand-based PUs might have a TOUCH less low-end response than the older PUs, but I'm not sure that is a bad thing. The biggest benefit is that they add a additional demension of texture, sort of a mid-based grit, that wasn't there before.

I was in the tone zone today for sure. Played my F1 through the house's XLT 410. Couldn't have been any happier.

Don't do it ... they won't accept the exchange. If they accept after a week they will find the shop full of chrome bridges... they don't want to sell the black hardware because this is a prerogative of NYC instruments and to respect for those who have spent a lot of money to buy them. We have to convince them in a more democratic (and lovely) way..... i think a petition is the best way.... we can...;)
