I had some drum lugs powder coated, they put them through a tumbler to "rough" them up, and they turned out nice......for about a week.

I intend too. Most of my other Sads have blue so its kinda nice to have something different. It seems to me so far to cut a little better through the mix but it may be the bass itself. I will know as soon as I put some blue on it.

Awesome! I haven't swapped out my Sadowsky Blues yet (man, they have great string life!), but I know Will prefers the Blacks, and I'll likely give them a try next.
