Club Sadowsky!!!

 How did I manage to get my lucky number!? I didn't notice that before. Better go out and buy myself another Sadowsky bass now, so that I put this number back in my sig :D.

Seriously, even though I'm not an owner any more :crying:, I do like to visit this thread and read about all the players who are finding their dream instruments and about the great, personal service which Roger still manages to give :). If I thought that my playing warranted it, there's no-one I'd rather give $5,000 to for a bass than Mr. Sadowsky :p!

You deserve to play any instrument that your money can buy...and you don't need to spend $5000 on a Sadowsky.

IIRC You liked black/maple, didn't you?
This one sure is way under $5000:

Newbie questions...
1. Do Metro basses have regular strap pegs? If so, is there a type of a straplock peg that fits best?

2. Are Metro neck finishes nitro or poly?

Thanks!

Sorry I can't answer the first question other than either the Dunlop or Shaller seem to work out well. I prefer the Dunlop myself.

As far as question #2, I asked this in Part 16. The Metros do come with the nitro finish on the back of the neck just like the NYC models.
