Club Sadowsky!!!

Here's a couple of the my Sadowsky in action from this past weekend. We took the grand prize in the "Country Up" competition at the Big "O" Oxford Fair in Maine. $25,000 grand prize. Good time.

Enjoying a nice cold brew with a couple of the boys while we waited for the winners to be announced.

Thanks Chef. Yeah I love the gold guard.

We did win. Took home the money. Now were putting it toward the IEM system that we've been saving for. That was $8,500, so we got that covered and the rest is split. So it makes for a nice take home :)
NO KIDDING! NICELY DONE! :)

Thanks Vic.

Stinks that I gotta take most of my cut of the cash and put it toward my Chihuahua's knee surgery :atoz:

Poor little thing has what they call Luxated Patel on both knees. $1,000 a knee. So I guess this competition came at the right time.

But I am looking forward to the new IEM system. It's going to be nice to show up wherever we're playing and have our monitor mix set and ready to go.

I wish that the P pups Sadowsky used weren't those symmetrical ones, though. I prefer the look of Fender's 5ver P pup because it doesn't have that blank spot.

Really? I see the overall pickup shape; the polepieces don't really show unless you're viewing from up close. The lopsided coils on the Fender PV bother me. As you say it's not a deal breaker, but if I get one (and I'd like to) it probably won't be one of the models with a white guard, because the asymmetry stands out too much.

Just goes to show: different strokes. :)

Congrats on the win! My band bought IEM system a few years ago and we love them one heck of a tool. not to mention saving your own ears:D
