Nah, even lower tech than that would be fine. Just set up another small amp nearby with a plain old wired mic attached to it and use it as a way to amplify his voice without messing with what he's demoing.

You know what is strange... the voice and bass are very nicely balanced on my playback system, although the clip volume is rather low (I have the autolimiter on the recording device so the slap transients and low end don't kill it).

So, this seems 'playback specific' for some. Who knows!?!?

Thought you all would dig these if you haven't seen them yet. Will is, of course, playing his signature model bass.

I caught the last few songs of will's set last nite, he was playing his candy orange sadowsky bass and sounded killer and Anton Fig was rippin up the drums ....

Every Monday nite Rich Cannata (Billy Joel sax player) has an open mic nite and I played a couple of tunes with the band, but the most amazing act was this bass player came up with his drummer from Mezzoforte and played a solo like this one linked below;

I wonder if this voids the fret warranty

Will's website says that he uses a Samson wireless through Hartke cabinet for live use.

Last nite at the Bitter end he used the house backline Hartke 410, and a walter woods high power amp.

I've had those Oz Noy w/ Will Lee vids on repeat and I'm really diggin' Will's tone. And I'm not an ash/maple guy. It sits in the mix great.

So is that the magic quality everyone always references with a Sadowsky?

Another clip of my Sadowsky NYC Vintage 5 ash/maple with singles through a few micro heads and the Bergantino HT112ER, for anyone interested I love this bass. Strings are broken in Sadowsky Blue Label SS.
