Hi sandberg experts, What is the difference btw the california JM4 Supreme and the TM4 supreme??

They changed the naming scheme last year:

"J" is now "T"
"P" is now "V"
and "M" is still "M"

I think it was due to pressure from Fender's lawyers regarding trademarks.

I just ordered my first Sandberg bass today!

It is a California TT passive with these specs:
Rosewood fingerboard
Alder body
Marley blue high gloss finish
White 3-ply pickguard
Sandberg single coils
Master volume/balance/tone knob configuration

I'm so excited!

Nice! There's samekind of cigarette burn than on my hardcore aged creme. I wonder when we gonna get non-smoking hardcores?

I'm going to stop by my music store tomorrow and pay the deposit, I will ask about the time of arrival too. I guessing it will take a couple of months from now.

Btw, I just found out that the color I picked, Marley blue, is named after Holger Stonjek's daughter and it is the same hue of blue as her eyes.

And I'll be sure to post pics when the bass arrives!

Nice one! I actually ordered the 5-string version of that bass, but changed my mind and ordered the black one instead. I always feel a slight bit if regret every time I see a decent picture of it in cream color. Looks lovely, man!

Has anyone got any idea what a Plasma Sandberg would cost?

1. If it's a custom bass you want, go to Link Removed and find your local official Sandberg dealer, send them an email or go to them and ask.

2. According to the official price list, which I then assume you haven't read, plasma finish costs 855 Euro in addition to the bass itself. Which means you could have any of their basses in plasma, I guess. Most of their basses cost around 1 to 1,5k euro, so that would make the total cost in excess of 2k euro.

3. They are more than happy to answer questions about prices and options on email:

Thanks for the reminder. Have a hard time catching up with so many members getting more Sandberg basses. At some point there will be twice as many Sandbergs as Members.
