Club Sandberg (part 2)

Hi, I'm new on this forum and it's my first post

I'm very iterested by Sandberg basses and I'm looking for some technical information about the neck of different models (this information is not available on the manufacturer's website)

Could you provide me the nut width or width of fret zero for the basses below ?

I just had an opportunity to try out a Sandberg California Umbo 4 with a relic finish. Truth be told, it's one of the better passive Jazz basses I've played in a while. The neck was super comfortable. And it was interesting to hear the open note with the zero fret.

The electronics were a little odd at first glance. Usually when I see three control knobs on a Jazz bass I'm expecting V/V/T. This was master volume, a pickup pan pot and tone. And then you throw the 3 position pickup selector switch in there and it's a little bit of a head scratcher.

The downside? I tried this out at a guitar show, and it was just loud as all get out there. Not the ideal place to try out an instrument or an amp. Thankfully the shop I do most of my business with is a Sandberg dealer, and I might have to check this bass out again.

It's been a few months, but here's an update:

I just finished installing a John East J-Retro Deluxe pre-amp in my Sandberg Tt5. It's a 3-way pre- with a parametric mid control. I've only played with it for a few minutes, but I am so impressed! An absolutely fantastic range of sounds now at my fingertips!

It's a clone of a 70's passive jazz, so passive electronics and 70's pickup position.

It's a bit hard to reach, sounds great tho, nice to just tap in a note here and there that high up on the neck! Mostly go on the 24th as it's a sweeeeeet octave to have

Which wood is the top? Back Mahogany and a Maple binding. And the electronics? 3-Band with volume for each pickup? And the switch? LEDs?
So many questions, such a beautiful Sandberg. Congrats!

I believe they are actually the same bass. It probably has to do with translation between German an english. Not sure what the T means outright except that it specifies a J pickup.
