Hm. What are the differences between v1 and v2 TSBS, and when did they switch over?
Thanks

I'd have thought Black Labels would have been on the new shape TSBS but the website says Sandberg Alnico 5s.body shape changed 2015
pick ups changed from Seymour Duncan to black labels in the past year or so

I love them. Vintage sounding, neck pickup is quite P-ish. Not particularly aggressive really though if that's your taste.Anyone here know about the Sandberg Alnico 5 pups ?

Hi Bruce, it changed from the more traditional Jazz shape to the more recent Sandberg design. I've got the Mk 1 version... do you remember it from the last OBF Sydney GTG? Cheers, TimWhat's was the body shape change?
Thanks

The MkII version (in same colour scheme) looks more like this:What's was the body shape change?

Not sure if someone has a mk1 picture as my memory isn't that good @Juan Lauda . I think the neck finish is different, a relic worn finish in the mk2 and gloss for the mk1? That might have changed at a different time.
I'm sorry, but you're called Bruce, and you're from Australia? Please tell me you've heard the drunken philosophers bit by Monty Python?!? Its brilliant. What's was the body shape change?
Thanks

There are different finishes for the neck.
None, soft aged, hard core aged, hardcore reserve, masterpiece and then the Sig basses.
All will treat the neck slightly differently, granted also the pattern of wear differs subtly over the years - the mk 1 MarloweDK wear is subtly different to the mk2 as an example
