This sounds wonderful !! And what a coincidence . I’ve been enjoying the neck pickup on my Ida 5 with my tube amp simulator quite a bit for old school PBass tones. Poppa Was a Rolling Stone was one of the exact tunes I was jamming to.
Sandbergs are so underrated . I’m glad because I don’t want the price skyrocketing !!
Love your videos !! Thanks for sharing , and keep them coming .
I’ve always said that Sandbergs don’t sound like Fenders or feel like Fenders .
But with the right pickups , technique , strings , and eq skills, they can handle that classic Fender sound quite well.
But right off the bat, the Sandberg sound has a lot more clarity , sustain and note separation .
This leads me to now believe that Sandbergs can be quite versatile. They can do modern and vintage . It really takes spending some time with them . I almost gave up on mine too quickly . Now I know better , and Im glad about it!!
