Oh ****, my english... With California, it's the singer! Not me! I am masculin!!! :)

Hahaha, excuse me for that!
Well she definatly looks great with your bass, you schould teach her how to play. Then we could finally have a female member in the Sandberg Club!

Enjoy the California further on, and lots of success with the band.

Thanks for adding me!

I've got some better pics somewhere on this PC, including a great shot of the body before all the hardware was put in - that pic doesn't show off the beautiful grain as well as it could... I actually got to hand pick the top, and helped Henrik cut the basic body shape while I was over there - great bunch of guys...:)

Here's a pic of me on the left, Henrik in the middle and Holger on the right in the hotel bar after going to see "Bap" on their 40th anniversary tour (big German band - and Sandberg users) and then getting horrendously drunk the day before they built my bass!

Here's a slightly better shot of the body...

Hi Tomve great to hear from you again.
I see that you got the Bullet Booster instead of the Ken Taylor. Great choise, I love those Boosters and played two of them as a Fretless both sounded spectacular.

Alex6, it is an honor to recieve your California with that super hot finish to the culb, you are the 40th member.

Dave The Bear, thank you for sharing those pics. Must have been a great experience to be present at the Sandberg Shop. I must still go there one day.
It seems that alcohol was playing a part wile building your bass, that must give it a special sound!
Great cocobolo top, the best one that I have seen.

Thanks guys!
Enjoy those basses.

Thanks nrssab but....I already was the member #35 ;)

Sorry for that! Haven't checked.

You live in Paris? I was there and there were many nice shops with basses. To bad I didn't have time to check, I only went to try out a Warwick Vampyre LTD but didn't like its sound.

Are there any special Sandbergs to find there? I remeber seeing some Californias and one Terrabass.

If you want to go to try out a Bullet Special you might consider a trip to Frankfurt, in Musik Schmidt they usually have one.

Hello nrssab, I would also like to be on the members list:). Is there any particular admission conditions? I have a Sandberg Thinline 5-string - here's a link to som pictures of it:

Can anyone tell me what bass is in this music video by bullet for my valentine - suffocating under words of sorrow

If you pause on 0:49, I am almost certain just by the headstock and the presence of dot inlays that that sir,is an Ibanez EDB550...

..However,looking at the body at 2:06,it becomes uncertain as it looks to have a ATK-esque pickup in it.

But it is NOT a Sandberg by the looks of it.

Dear Helge I remeber you from the posts before. How is everything going?

You are admitted with honor as the 40th memeber of the joint.

Enjoy the Thinline.
