Club Sandberg ?

Here´s my Sandberg Basic 4.
Going to send it back to Sandberg to get some humming-problems fixed and split the pickup.
Love this instrument, 3-Band-EQ is very flexible, handling is like a dream for me...

I hope you get it back soon from Sandberg, a bit strange that quite some of theire basses have that problem. People say that the Glockenklang pre is a bit fragile.

Have fun with it!

Can I become number 18?

I have a custom shop PM 4 with D-tuner and a special cream white finish, done by Schimmel (the pianofactory)!
I also have a Basic 4 black burst with maple fretboard.

I just ordered this weekend a third Sandberg: a Basic 6 in tobacco burst with maple fretboard and black hardware. They told me it could take a few months before it will be ready. When I get it, I'll post some pictures.

I'll post some pics of my other two Sandy's today...

I remember playing a very very similar one in Barcelona a year ago. Great look and beautiful sound, it really amazed me! I highly recomend it to anyone who has the cash!

I received delivery of my new Sandberg JM4 California Supreme about a week ago, it's absolutely superb!

Yeah, it's superb! Everything about it is spot-on, outstanding quality, workmanship, and it has been set-up perfectly.

Sound is very rich and clear, and I can also get some good Jazz tones out of it as well! :D

I hope to post a full review once I've fully evaluated it.

I wasn't even looking for this kind of thing, but now I'm a registered user to the site because I want to join the sandberg club. I have a basic 4 and I used to work for the first Sandberg dealer in the USA. I'm pretty sure I have one of the first ones ever to make it's way over seas! I'll try to post a pic or 2 later

Great mate! Welcome to talkbass, and thanks for wanting to join the Sandberg club. As soon as you have sent a pic of youre Basic 4 (which I'm very curious about) you have youre number.

Nice that you have worked for a Sandberg dealer, which other Sandbergs have you played beside the Basic 4?
