just saw on the report that stephen colbert has a flavor of ben and jerry's.

pretty cool. now, i realize that there are probably a few of you who won't be buying it because it's a ben and jerry's product, and that's fine. i don't want this thread to be churned into anything other than ice cream discussion (or ice cream puns? ).

anyone try it? sounds delicious. and the link is funny.

Saw it a week or so ago on the show when he had Ben and Jerry on as guests. They had an Ice Cream for Stephen Jr. (the eagle) too.

I find that hilarious. Too bad I don't like their ice creams.

So i went to the store today, disappointing, they didn't have it. I went specifically for it too... Ended up buying bunch of frozen food (Fridays)... Going to store with munchies = bad!

It's the best Ben and Jerry's flavor ever, IMO, and I've tried 'em all. I have 3 containers in my freezer right now. The components of this flavor are just the chocolate coated cone pieces and the caramel, but maybe there's a gestalt thing happening where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

I only have a small idea of who and/or what Colbert is in the scheme of politics and media, but the ice cream is superb.
