Anyways, I'm not familiar with a THE CAT bass. Can you post a pic?
I am wondering what color i should paint a 80's Aria "The Cat" bass, and sorry but i cant put any pics on right now but if you look on warmoth.com the aria i have kinda look like the G4 bass body they have on there. Hope this helps.

if the headstock is maple or black, you could leave it...but a matching headstock would be cool...but you should try to get the decals (either bought or made)...
