Can't recommend that store or those guys enough! Only place for bass gear in the whole state (really the whole region).

I actually told the guys that I'm glad it's not closer to where I am, otherwise I'd be spending way too much money in that store. I have to premeditate going up there!

Yeah, that's how I feel whenever I walk into Music Go Round in Littleton. Assuming it's a day when they have good stuff sitting out.
Not as far as bass stuff goes, because it's almost always a horrible selection. But when it comes to guitard gear, synthesizers, recording equipment... ****.
I LOVE my MGR! =) Always spend at least an hour looking and playing around with stuff after my lesson's over.
Last time I was there I saw a really cool banjo ukulele. My uncle and brother would have totally loved that thing!

I have been to both Aurora and Littleton MGR with Littleton having a better selection of equipment. My band will need some better PA speakers and I was able to convince the guys to check out MGR first before buying new. I have bought my rig, keyboard, and my drum machine there and have been quite happy with my purchases. With trade ins and layaway, it's easy to upgrade you stuff. The place I haven't been to is Premier. I'm truly afraid of the money I would spend when, not if, but when I go check out the store!!!!!
Ok... I'm biased, but I don't know why there are guys within a 2 hour radius that haven't been to Premier Bass Guitars yet...

I don't know why any bass player in the wouldn't have been to Premier yet. I've been spoiled by Talkbass, so Guitar Center (and similar stores, which is why I've never been to MGR) just don't hold any draw for me any more. Aside from all the primo gear, it's just a cool hang. I've met some cool cats there who just come in to hang out. It's more like Premier Bass Lounge Where You Can Buy Gear If You Want To, rather than Premier Bass Guitars.

Super cool offer! I wish I could take you up on it today. I promise to make the trip up there soon. I've been on talkbass for a couple years and I don't think Colorado has a GTG. Do you think the PBG might be able to host one in the future? It could be a win-win for all!
Well, like 5SG said... Every day is a hang a PBG! And we've hosted a few clinics (Bryan Beller, Norm Stockton, and Frank Russell) and we're evaluating others...

There was one GTG quite a while ago, down in Colorado Springs. If Dan and PBG are willing to host, I bet it would be a pretty good draw. Get the message out far enough in advance and keep spreading the word is what's key. That last one was pretty much an under the radar thing.
I'm a designer, I'd definitely be down to do some promo materials for it free of charge, and we could do some social media blasting about it too. Let me know, I'd be happy to help plan as needed, too. The last one didn't really have any promo to it. It was nice, but I think it could've been much cooler.
Plus Funky, I bet people might ... you know... buy stuff while they're there... Lol

I think You and Dan should pick a couple dates that works the best for the shop, and we can vote on them.
I do vote for sometime mid-June though, that'll give us enough time to get the word out, work out details and give people time to plan, and my unlined fretless Carvin SB5k should be done by then! Hehehe

Just not June 15-22. I get 1 vacation a year and I wouldn't want to miss it. I have never been up to Premier.
