*ahem* Plenty of empty store fronts in our neck of the woods... ;)

I guess it would depend on if you were doing a strictly online business or one with an actual "store." With strictly online as long as you had some place to store the merchandise before you shipped it out would be all you'd need. But it would be nice to have an actual place for people to come in and try/buy stuff as well.

So what would it take for it to happen though? NicJimBass seems to be the closest to actually go through with it. I've often wondered seriously what it would take to make it happen but I have no idea where to start.

I actually already started it. They are legitimate Fenders, but they say SX on the headstock meaning Special X-dition. Just send $1000 to me, and youll get one. Fully stock.

I take as many orders as possible, actually.

Get a business license. Build a website. Advertise... once that gets going, it's not too hard to get a new business loan. Rent a building, buy a sign, stock the building, hire your friends. :D

Guys.. I think I might sell my 210 and get something more to my needs, say a full new rig or a boutique 410/610. My rig just isnt my thing, I love the orange, but Im not getting what I want out of it.

Maybe Im crazy! I change my mind every frikkin day, but if anyone has any 610 or crazy other cabs, PM me. Well figure something out at the GTG.

I'll be bringing my Genz Benz 610T-XB2, so you can check it out. Plus, it's already covered in a red bedliner finish--that's close to orange!

Y'know... there's that old best buy building on chantry dr. here in Reynoldsburg. It'd be more than large enough. Dunno how much it would cost to rent. There's also a former Target in the same strip mall. Both would have plenty of floorspace and warehouse space. Lots of electrical outlets too. Even the old discovery zone building would make a good shop.

Maybe if the columbus area gtg's get big enough we could look into renting one of them for a weekend or something? Plenty of parking there, that's for sure.

Ooh la la.

If this thing gets past 50, maybe we should look into this?

I would be down with that but man, I bet it would be BOOMY in there since you'll have all that tile flooring and concrete walls in that wide open space. It would still be cool though. If this GTG does well and we want to do another one then that's a definite option.

I need to check with work and confirm, but I'm probably out for this one. I'm working with a theater production here in Athens, and it looks like we've added a matinee performance on the afternoon of the 1st. Not surprisingly, it coincides with the scheduled time for the GTG. :(

Can't say if I'll have picked up my Skjold by then, or if Pete will still have it to bring to the GTG.

Actually, the old best buy didn't have any tile, it was carpeted. But yeah, if the GTG's for columbus area get large, it might be a viable option to look into renting something like this for the day, as it's large, has electrical outlets to spare, restroom facilities, parking, and is easy to find. It's also conveniently located near both hometown buffet and asian star.

Quick question, anyone going to the Jazz and Ribs Festival this weekend? I want to go on Friday since Oli Rockberger is playing at 4. the only problem is that I get off work at 3 and that's cutting it close seeing that i have to find a parking spot in that crowd. Tony Grey plays with Oli on his CD's but I'm not sure if he's playing this gig.

Hey guys, I'll be bringing a Mesa Boogie 400+ all tube head that comes with original box, instructions, paperwork etc. It has never been racked and is in mint condition. I'd like to get $1050 for it. if anyone would be interested in seeing this at the GTG, let me know. It would be really nice not to have to ship it.
