Hey guys, I'll be bringing a Mesa Boogie 400+ all tube head that comes with original box, instructions, paperwork etc. It has never been racked and is in mint condition. I'd like to get $1050 for it. if anyone would be interested in seeing this at the GTG, let me know. It would be really nice not to have to ship it.

I've always wanted to hear one of those, but I'm not likely to buy it.

As for Skjold basses, I still think Tom might be bringing one of his...

My dad was looking for one, but he's retired, lives out in PA, and is too cheap to spend $1k on anything. Which is why he'll never own a mesa... lol (unless he finds a cheap one on ebay that needs work).

I'd love to hear a bass made out of aspen (more dense than mahogany, less dense than alder) in a stingray or thunderbird setup, or a 'bucker-p (neck humbucker, with split pups in P-bass position). But the only luthiers I've ever heard of working with that wood are in finland (Lottonen guitars), and a custom solidbody through them would cost about $9.5k with the exchange rates.

If I don't have to work, I'll probably hitch a ride down there with MEKer, and I'd have my rocktron 1x15, yamaha, gibson sg, and fender p with me for the ride.

Betcha I hate my job more....

Anyway, don't have to work that day. So I should be able to make it (provided I can manage to wake up on time...). I'm a bit notorious for not waking up before 3p on days off... but I'm gonna try, even if I have to stay awake with a caffeine IV to do it.

If I can make it you can make it and I've got to drive 100 miles. :D I'm a terrible night owl.

Yup, just make sure you bring something really nice so I can leave the GTG with a bad case of GAS. I'm due for something new besides a baby girl.

Me too! I have to talk to the band, but my three options after the GTG are:
1. Another cab, depending upon if I need it for the band.
2. Really work on Funkist.
3. Buy my first MIA or 6 string bass.

Or a combo of the 3, dependent upon how much moolah I have.
