Columbus, OH GTG??

Remember, your tone won't be as important to the crowd, or even the other musicians, as it is to you. I own 2 Avatar B212's and I gig them regularly in my church and at my gigs. I am impressed with what my Avatars do and how well they sound at louder volumes. Yes, there are better cabs out there, and yes, there are much more expensive cabs out there but no, there are no cabs out there that sound the way Avatars sound for the money you pay for them.

You could sell your 210 and get a 410 but you'll need a lot more money. I'd suggest getting an 8 ohm 212 or 410 to add to your 210. That way you can play your amp at a full 4 ohms and get all the wattage and headroom out of your head. Plus, it will sound fuller and punchier with more speakers pushing more sound and air. If you get an Aguilar or Ampeg stack you may enjoy it but your audience won't know the difference unless they're musicians themselves.

Mt. Dew Code Red the bottling companies here in OH don't really do anything other than 12 pack cans or 20 oz bottles anymore, which is why you never see 2 liters. G & J bottlers here in columbus are all for the gimmicky stuff like the game fuel and voltage... as well as that nasty baja blast crap at toxic hell.

It's not a lack of demand for the code red, because if you put it in a pop machine, it sells out first. Same with LiveWire. Now bottlers in other states still make code red in all sizes, however. When my mom visits from PA she is required to bring eight 2 liter bottles of code red as a sacrifice (or bribe, whichever sounds more realistic).

Now really, doritos? Those things are as bad for your strings as cheetos are for a white t-shirt. I swear if I have the day off and make it down there, then I'm coming loaded for bear with handsoap and wetwipes...

Update on my gear:

My LDS 15/6.5 should ship today, and I've ordered a Carvin BX1200 to use with it. I'm hopin' that my custom Hanewinckel will ship next week. If that's the case, because I have a gig that night, I will likely bring my Yammy, the Hane, and the BX1200 (w/ footswitch) mounted in the LDS 15/6.5 cab.

I agree about the Doritos. Unless everybody is eating them, it can be pretty toxic in the breath department too. :eek:

And I never knew that about Code Red. Usually the main time I get it is when I drive through Taco Bell to get a steak stuffed burrito. If I ever do find a supply of 2-liters, I'll let you know. :)

I just want to play one of those Skjolds you have and if you're bringing a NYC Sadowsky I'll try that one too. You wouldn't happen to have an Alleva Coppolo would you? If you do and you still have room in your car I'd like to take a gander at one of those. I want to see what those are all about.


Sounds like this thing is going to be a freakin' blast!!!
