Combo or cab suggestions for reamping?

Hello

I'm interested in a small combo or cab for re-amping (recording) synth(bass)/guitar/bass etc. Ideally I'd prefer small (home storage). Also that it has some character, not too transparent.

I'm looking at a cheap and dirty Ampeg RB108, a Micromark 801 (because it's small), or a cab such as an Ampeg PF-112HLF (B15-ish) or SVT 210AV (SVT-ish) and appropriate low wattage tube head, etc. ...

I've heard the RB108 can sound nice with clean guitar (not just bass). Could that be true of the Micromark as well?

Please advise if there's any combo or cab you'd recommend for some general re-amping and recording.

Thanks

reamping is a pain, unless you have a proper studio, not a small room with a small combo. reamping to a 8" combo seems surely something weird for me, that's not the tone, you normally want to hear on recordings (albeit a blend with DI will help).

why not just going VST? the SVT suite and Mark Studio are highly rated. Plugin Alliance (former maker of official SVT plugin, they're also highly rated) also has a fliptop, a GK, a Bassman, a hand of SVTs and a V-4B.
