I started off with the Enhance set to around 9:00 or 9:30, but actually backed it off to 8:30 or 9:00, as I personally preferred the tone at this setting. I did a good bit of testing with the Warm both on and off, and it really was subtle. I did not mess with the trim pot for the Warm switch, but I am guessing that it was set fairly low. Still, I slightly preferred the tone with it one.

Righto, and the nice thing is that you can drive a 2 ohm load. I like to run this combo with two of the Eden CX110 extension cabs, for a total load of 2.67 ohms.

Yess! I have the exact same config, except currently the head is out of the combo cab, but yeah, I did do the "310" thing and it was amazing for its size.

I still say these Time Travelers are huge sleepers. I know it wasn't your favorite amp in this shootout, but I'll never ever get rid of mine. They make uber-fantastic clean/quiet recording interfaces, have tons of really cool features, and a sound I just love.

However, I've also always wanted to really check out a BBII, and once again, YOU ARE NO DARNED HELP!

Tom, thanks for the great review. I would love to hear the addition of a Hartke Kickback 12 to this test. Theirs more then a few guys who are using these for main gigging amps in low volume situations. One other suggestion, I would love to see you include retail or street price in these reviews. For many of us the choice is not best rig regardless of cost, but best value in our price range.

And I'm with the other guy, you need to quit that lawyerin thing! And get a respectable job like "bass amp reviewer". I'm sure theirs big money in that.

I've been meaning to upgrade my ampeg BA112 for awhile, the baby blue has a great fidelity rep, this is good to see. I didn't know Combos could cause GAS.

I need to bring it home and do some hard comparisions, but man, oh man, is that little combo impressive! I am using it at our practice room right now and it is competing with a full kit, guitar, and amplified vocals quite well!
