Double Bass comments on the street

My current favourite is "Hey, you play double bass? I need someone for Friday..."

It's nice being able to fill in open weekend nights like that. :D
Answer: "Well, I was supposed to have my second lesson Friday, but what the hey, I think I've got it down pretty well."

BTW-I've been hired almost like that in my lifetime::D

My favorite is "do you play regular bass too?" I've never given the answer I always wanted which was "yes I play regular and premium bass." The problem is that question usually came at 3:00 am on the NYC subway when me and maybe two other folks were on the train.

Oh and this is me when I used to play in Central Park.

I love the busdrivers here in Amsterdam. Their comments are usually funny :)

'Movin' the mother-in-law, are we?'

'Let me guess? You wanted to play piano, but that was to big to carry?'
