ps. if your backup amp does not have Speakon, then I would just ditch Speakon. Daisy chain the cabs and use a 1/4" cable to the amp, which can be used in the SVT or the backup. Cheaper and less pieces parts to break. And that leaves you with a total of 2 cables, only 1 of which has to be touched during an amp changeover.
