While not a musician, Casey Kasem was the host of American Top 40 radio in the Seventies and Eighties, and a precursor to such TV hosts as Andy Cohen and Ryan Seacrest.

He was an integral part of my childhood and my parents' childhood.
 
I might be a bit odd to feature a pic of the giant video screen instead of the player directly, but it's part of the concert experience and sometimes all you can get…

A shot of Gang Of Four bassist Sara Lee at a festival I went to this past weekend. She didn't get much face time on that(what else is new?), but vocalist Jon King gave her a glowing introduction. The new guitarist hit all the marks, but I still missed Andy Gill.

It was Siouxie Sioux's first US performance in 15 years. The added visual effects enhanced the spookiness…

…hate to say it, but the time off hadn't been kind to her voice, although she put on quite an overall performance.

Then backstage(not my shot)…well, nobody is getting any younger, are they?(Certainly not me).

Ironically, Iggy Pop, the oldest performer at the event, put on the most crazed, energized show, but he's always done that.
