Yes, that's the one. It's been several years since I have seen the movie but IIRC, there was a lot of tension around Elvis coming into Nashville to make a country album. Would really need to see it again to remember all of the details, but that seems to have stuck in my memory.
On a side note, I think one of their best performances on the album is Why Don't You Love Me, a Hank Williams song.
Cool, I'll have to see it. And I agree about that performance. I heard that one really annoyed producer Billy Sherrill. I have no doubt there was tension, Nashville was putting out a lot of syrupy ballads at that time. Waylon and Willie were considered outlaws because they stayed true to the raw roots of the genre.

So is this a factory bass or custom? I can't tell if there is a split coil under the guard or not. Interesting.
