that burst '59 Les Paul would go from Dan Erlewine in 1966 to Michael Bloomfield and the drummer would get into the RnRHoF himself as leader of The Stooges. until then it was a gig in the yard to 1 kid passing by.

I would take guitar lessons from EVH, but I wouldn't take career lessons from DLR.

DLR's net worth is 60 million dollars. Eddie's was 100 million dollars before he died.I would take guitar lessons from EVH, but I wouldn't take career lessons from DLR.
They both did well enough.
DLR did very well considering his very limited singing talent.
Unfairly, IMO. They certainly were not the first band put together by a third party, and they definitely were not the last.
