Although Bon returned to Australia from late 1979 to early 1980, he did not perform publicly. This photograph shows his last appearance on Australian soil, a party for AC/DC at the Cremorne Strata Inn in Sydney on February 5, 1979. I saw them a few years ago in Santa Barbara (pre-COVID). They'd just hired the new keyboard player (who was sooo good).
They were supposed to play "Point of Know Return" in its entirety, but due to the presence of their old tour manager (who lives in Santa Barbara) they just played all his favourite songs!
Great night. They were absolutely impeccable. Phil Ehart must be a blast to play with.

Dozens injured after golf ball-sized hail hit the outdoor venue Red Rocks in Colorado during a Louis Tomlinson (One Direction vocalist) concert. Not exactly a "cool" r'n'r photo. I had a summer place just outside of Boulder. Early summer storms can be brutal.
