Birthday today. As sad as his passing was, at least he didn't get to the point where he had to stop playing, or couldn't play anymore.

Don't let the receding hair lines fool you: Rush were still making some great music in the eighties.
Truth. I would say he hardly slowed down if at all. Full faculties IMO, 'til death.
He kept getting better, exploring new concepts, pushing boundries, going against expectations. Just the exact opposite of his contemporaries.
