I admit it. I stole that quote. 1978. My first job out of uni after the Army. Fermilab in Batavia, IL. I was renting a small house in North Aurora on the Fox River. I was on my way home southbound on Hwy 25 on the east bank of the river. My hair was still longer than shoulder length (I wear in on the inside nowHowdy! I like your profile quote!

). There was an old beater van behind me. I saw it in my rearview mirror. The driver's hair was longer than mine. That quote was written mirrored (reversed, like they do with "Ambulance") on the leading edge of the hood. I gave a big thumb's-up out of my window and got a wave in return. I've been using it ever since. I always liked the double meaning. Both happened to be true in my case.

interesting that I used the same cabinet setup a few years later.
Then that dates the photo no earlier than '63, which was when the Embassy debuted according to my '22 VGPG. I'm guessing it switched from 4 inline to 2x2 tuners in '65, as the value drops in that year.
