I was stoked to see Jake was invited to play at the Farewell Sabbath show this weekend.
I was trying to time stamp this Kansas photo. I did a double take on Dave Hope to the far left. Not dissing him, but he looked a bit chunkier than I remembered.

Mark "Moogy" Klingman was an American musician and songwriter. He was a founding member of Todd Rundgren's band, Todd Rundgren's Utopia, and later became a solo recording artist, bandleader and songwriter.
He also played with artists such as Carly Simon, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Jeff Beck and Chuck Berry, and is also known for writing the song "Friends", which was recorded by Bette Midler in 1972, and will now be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

Dang. He looked like one of the Molly Hatchet boys in that photo. Yeah, he was in deep back then. I remember a 700 Club interview where he admitted how much $$$ he'd spent on his habit until he kicked it. Glad he was able to do so.

And through it all, he was always a solid player. It's hard to go wrong playing a precision bass into a SVT.
Utterly bogus. Morrison's head looks too big for his body and… along those lines, all jokes aside, Joplin couldn't stand him. That pose has never shown up before anyway.

Definitely AI. Their ages are all off. By the time Hendrix looked like that Morrison was much heavier and bearded.
