Cool rock n roll photos

There isn't, within the normal limits of common sense and good taste, of course.
So, there is a "normal number limit" of "common sense and good taste".....?
In your esteemed opinion, what exact number would that be?
I'm fairly sure the thread was opened for the sole purpose of sharing interesting pictures.
There was absolutely minimal effort required to scroll past all those mundane snapshots of that beautiful woman,
.....so you could get to yet another tasteful photographic rendering of Geddy Lee.

Was there a problem with the images?....Were they too racey for this audience?
Their videos are on Youtube with no adult age verification required.
Their CD's are sold in all the normal outlets.
Die Antwoord has a worldwide audience of females and males that attend their live shows, these are perfectly normal adults like my kids in their mid 30's.
The two artists who make up Die Antwoord starred in a big budget Hollywood movie called Chappie, wearing the same clothes and sporting the same look that they always do.
None of those images I posted offend my 58 year old female wife.
Geez...how old are you guys?

No, I just think they could have been spaced out better. A little here, a little there. Are there any other images you'd like to share?

Have you looked through the thread?
I have posted a boat-load of images of male and female artists in this thread, none of which seemed to cause the ire that Die Antwoord has.
And no, I have no desire to share any more images, I'm afraid to offend the "Get off My Lawn" codgers around here.

Yes. And when you go past it, it's called hi-jacking a thread.

I found nothing offensive about Die Antwoord, or any other band featured in this thread. Indeed, I found the first two or three pics interesting.

Understatement.

Okay, you all made me go back and look at the photos of Die Antwood. I don't know the band but the photos are bizarre. I don't see a problem though. There are a band and this is a thread about cool rock and roll photos. Maybe we all can't agree on what cool is but that is one of the things that makes it interesting here.
Of course, I am not in charge here nor do I want to be. Maybe if we don't want to hijack the thread we can let it go. What say you?

I didn't find the photos offensive. You should share more, interspersed with bunnies and Grand Funk Railroad. That oughtta make the ol' codgers happy :)

Taking a risk here, i know. I hope the censor police can see past a thing (or 2) in favor of the overall beauty that is this Debbie Harry photo i came across today. "Long live the new flesh!" >

Some of us (most?) aren't total prudes around here, but dang yea that WAS a lot of Die Antwerp photos to flood in all at once on one page. (Edit: oops, i meant to type Die Antwood in my haste above ^)

I tend to think hi-jacking a thread is going off topic and taking a thread in a whole other direction.... like you are doing ...two weeks after I posted the pics.

So, sharing more than two or three pics of any single (non Geddy) artist/band is too many, and anyone posting too much visual content in a thread requesting pictures.. is trolling and hi-jacking?....got it.

Not a problem, the same redundant/rhetorical question about a Precision for the thousandth time.
Not a problem, discussions for the last 10 years straight, why tort pickguards are important.
Not a problem, super interesting reports of itchy feet in those conversational 1000+ pages long bass model threads.

I got the message now, ...keep contributions brief, on point, and don't post too often (12,050 since you joined the forum) .....awesome.

You're right. My bad. There is a much quicker fix for page after page of your brand of self-indulgence and ego-centricity, and I have now taken the appropriate steps. Please, feel free to own the thread with as many pictures as you like, it will no longer have any effect on me whatsoever.
