I love 10cc, Manchesters finest (after The Smiths) if you ask me. They were a bit off balance though, Eric Stewart and Graeme Gouldman wrote some great songs, Godley and Creme wrote some sh!te

Stewart and Gouldman wrote about 10% of the guitar-oriented chart hits that were not by The Beatles between about 65 and 68, didn't they? Are they in the rock and roll hall of fame yet?

This is a local band called Stella Mori that I shot a photo of a few years ago. Printed this myself in an actual dark room. I think they're still around but lots of lineup changes.

From the same show, another local band called Skelliton. Since broken up I think, the bass player got pregnant and during the ensuing hiatus the drummer apparently moved to Austin, Texas. Not sure what will happen now, but at least I have a couple of their CDs.
