Been a fan for 50 years. Have many many miles listening to ZZ Top on bikes, cars, pickups, and airplanes. Have seen them in concert 15 times and enjoyed every minute. A special concert was with my daughter. ZZ Top was playing in Lubbock, TX along with Lynrd Skyrnd. I had forgot about the concert and heard it on the radio coming home from work. Called the ticket office in Lubbock, lady said we have two seats in the front row if you want them. Mam, its less than two hours before the opening band comes on, how can you have front row seats? She said if you don't want them people are waiting. Ok how much? $45 each. I'll take them and off we went flying down to Lubbock. Told my daughter these will be front row seats in the balcony. Got there, got the tickets, and sure enough, seat 12 and 13 front row. Could have spit on the stage. What a night.
Also saw them in the World Wide Texas Tour with all the wild animals. Buzzard behind Frank Beard the drummer, buffalo, all kinds of Texas animals.

My favorite song is LaGrange while an extremely close second is Waitin for the Bus/Jesus Just left Chicago.

RIP Dusty. Much joy to this old guy!
