I have been a huge Kansas fan since their early days. I have seen them in concert many times. Once, Robby was standing by a gate to an outdoor venue and I asked him to sign my ticket stub and I still have it.

Robby Steinhardt, Phil Ehart, Kerry Livgren, Dave Hope, Rich Williams, Steve Walsh
He wasn't a songwriter, but he shared lead vocals and his playing was arguably the biggest part of what made Kansas Kansas. Fans also knew him as the one who was the main interface with the crowd during concerts. I'm one of those fans, having seen Kansas many times since the mid-70s.Kansas Violinist and Vocalist Robby Steinhardt R.I.P.
His presence was missed since leaving the band, but sadder still to see him leave us.
RIP from a huge fan.
