Doug Fieger of The Knack playing 3 sunburst Hofner basses
This was the first bass Doug ever owned, and he used with his earlier power pop band, The Sky.

Is that Brian Beller and Joe Satriani? Who's in the middle?
That's the extremely talented Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Beer For Dolphins, Dethklok etc.). He and Brian Beller have been playing together for many years.
Any names to go along with the musos in the photo for posterity?
That's "Family". John "Charlie" Whitney (guitars), Jim King (saxophones, vocals, harmonica), Rob Townsend (drums), Ric Grech (bass, vocals, violin), Roger Chapman (vocals).
Later members would include Tony Ashton, and John Wetton.
Chapman (Chappo) had/has a very distinctive voice with natural vibrato. Similar to Mike Patto's.
I was hoping someone would recognise Ric Grech.
