They opened up for Night Ranger in 1983, and when me and some friends saw them in Norman, OK, we booed Ratt off the stage. I don't know if they were too drunk or high or both, but they were terrible. They got through maybe two songs, flipped us off and left the stage. Night Ranger came on early to rousing applause and did an extra long set.

Sounds like the same tour I saw them (Ratt). I caught Night Ranger the following year with Sammy Hagar and Saga. KILLER concert.

Harry Belafonte was a big hairy deal around my house, growing up.
I still think the world of him!

Based on photographs and interviews it seems that Jack Casady invented the PJ pickup configuration in 62 or 63 (and maybe in this very Jazz).

For real? That is so cool....I didn't get to first see them until 1983....but loved them since 77...and have seen them several times since

and got my tickets for this march in Brixton....sans Hugh...but always see him play when he is in Toronto

I was very friendly with members of the Vibrators who shared a bill quite regularly with the Stranglers....

I was quite friendly with Jean Jaques at the time too.....

I went to the Battersea gig with my wife of about a year at the time and also with this lady...

This Bloke...
