A 1972 Rickenbacker bass in Jetglo finish owned by Bon Jovi guitarist (and avid guitar collector) John Shanks.

I hate to be that guy. But a '72 has full width inlays, 1/2"toaster spacing, clear tug bar, gap tooth bridge. Not sure if this does and checker binding.

Yeah, was going to say all of that. The changes were incremental during '73 (I just saw a pic on FB of a '73 that looked like this one, but w/ 1/2 pickup spacing), so I would say the bass in this picture is very late '73 at the earliest.

I'd hate to be Bon Jovi's guitarist too.

Ha, I wouldn't be surprised if this was either her idea or the idea of her husband--the one and only Derek Smalls, er, Harry Shearer. I saw them perform together a few years ago during the holidays, doing a mix of music and stories. Both are talented and funny.
