…at a "teen fair"(anyone remember those?). They were good, but not exceptional, althought they did record one album for ABC/Probe Records; this was one of the highlights…


I had a high regard for their lead guitarist, Bob Sebbo(the guy in the middle, playing left-handed); he had a birth defect or maybe an accident where he was missing the fingers on his left hand, so he endeavored to play lefty position. Never knew what happened to him, he may be deceased now.

According this youtube he put up in 2018, he was still with us at least then. It is amazing how well he plays with his "disability". I'm glad!.

However, due to the possible political nature of the 2018 video, I had post this one from 2014



There was a bass guy here in town who was missing his left hand. He strapped on a wrist clamp that had a little vise at the end and stuck a pick in there. He was playing around here quite back in the 80s and 90s. Where there's a will, there will be a way.

Their concerts from Crime of the Century through Breakfast in America were excellent. I have tried to like Indelibly Stamped, but failed every time. Not even going to try posting that album cover (the best thing about that album (which isn't saying much)). They got too syrupy live after the original BiA tour.

Have you listened to Brother Where You Bound? It's a great album, more in the vein of the era you mention.

I have all of their albums, including that one and their first (Supertramp, released before Indelibly Stamped). IMO, BWYB is OK, but the tour for that album really showed how much they missed Roger Hodgson. Recalling the Even In The Quietist Moments tour (where they covered Crime of the Century, Crisis, What Crisis?, and EITQM) still gives me goosebumps. It was amazing.
