What a collection of talent and creativity! Two studio albums and one live album. New Amazon Music playlist! The second studio album had Terry Bozzio on drums, with Wetton and Jobson, so I doubt it is up to the same standard as the first one. We shall see.
Thinking back on that day/night, it would have made a great movie. A modern day Homers Odyssey as my buddy and I struggled to get our dates home while encountering a cast of colorful characters including: the menacing, but ultimately kindly, bikers, the wise sage dispensing pot enhanced wisdom while sitting at a campfire in the middle of the, under construction, I-95 North Bound lanes, and all the rest. Cameron Crowe made bank on Almost Famous. I'm thinking I missed a great opportunity.saw 'em live in ~77 at a free concert at Penns Landing, Philadelphia. Between the show, the unexpectedly huge crowd and the fire that broke out on the pier next over, resulting in Delaware Ave. being shut down, so that I couldn't get to my car..........it was an epic night for a teen from Philly.
DoneAll he is missing in this picture is his Rickenbacker Burgundyglo 4001 bass!

WHAT WAS THE FIRST FESTIVAL YOU WENT TO?
Geezer Butler: "The 1967 Woburn Abbey 'Love In'! I stole a pair of welder's goggles from work, stuck some flowers in my dad's hat, went down to Carnaby Street and a bought a flowered shirt, tie and flowered trousers and went from there in an old J4 van with three of my mates. It was like my coming of age party. Someone gave me my first joint and I put the wrong end in my mouth and tried to light the cardboard end. It was an incredible experience. My photo was in the daily papers on the following Monday, and when I got home my mum and dad went absolutely mental for bringing disgrace to the family!"
