A behind the scenes guy, Buck Munger.
From Portland originally, he went to LA(somewhere I read he had worked for Frank Sinatra)and eventually became the artist rep for Sunn Amplifiers out of Oregon, getting Sunn gear into the hands of Hendrix and Redding, The Who, The Buckinghams, Steppenwolf, and others.
On returning to the Pac NW years later, he ran a magazine, Two Louies, that chronicled the Portland music scene.
He also managed, in a fashion, the brief US career of a character from Britain, Screaming Lord Sutch, who tried to be the UK's answer to Screaming Jay Hawkins. Munger had organized a band of young hopefuls to demo Sunn equipment at Teen Fairs and whatnot, and they formed the basis of the band recording with Sutch in Hollywood(overseen by Munger), also featuring performances by visiting mates like Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and Noel Redding. Those guys were told that it was just demos, but an album was released of that stuff plus some sessions done in London with Jeff Beck and Nicky Hopkins, among others. All the big names were splashed on the cover, much to their dismay, and it was regarded as one of the worst rock albums ever.
I bought the Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends album in 1975/76 when I had a job selling instruments in a music store that also sold tons of records.

My first decent bass was a '63 Jazz bought used in '67, along with a used '64 Bassman amp. Played them for 2 years before leaving for the Army. Came home to an empty space. My mother had given both away. For free.
Same guy again, now with Susan Sarandon.
