Quick question if Paul purchased this his 61 Hofner his bass that was supposedly right handed, why are the controls and pick guard not on the top when he flipped it over? Thoughts also as you can see of this photo it is clearly plugging at the bottom.

this photo of the lost 61 was clearly a left handed bass imo

As a lefty who played a right handed bass upside down for at least 2 years my controls were on top as was Jimi Hendrix in this photo

here's my version of that, Thanksgiving '73 @ The Fab Forum, LA. 2nd performance of the tour.
I don't recall a toss but Pete got that high on the jump climax of WGFA, he flew across the stage.
this was the next show after Frisco where Moon konked out and a lucky kid in the audience finished the gig. we got an encore performance, a rarity for The Who who felt they all excelled. me too.
