I love Killswitch, why you gotta be on the "their not metal" train? I always find that when the "serious metalheads" say a band has gone soft I like them more, ala Killswitch with howard, Mudvayne after LD50, Slipknot after vol 3, A7X's latest, and Mastodons latest(cant even stand their older stuff but crack the skye is my fave cd this year) these are also good candidates for coolest band name. I still consider tham metal tho, what makes them not metal exactly?

because they're a band, like all those other ones, that used to play metal and now play hard rock. see also All That Remains.

I'm not saying they're bad, they just aren't playing metal! Mastodons new stuff is great hard rock, and i would say mastodon is hard rock, not metal

Here in Omaha, a guitar playing buddy of mine has named his most recent bar and club band ' Drunken Intentions '. I had a good laugh over that name as I love it. If you were in Omaha, back the 80's, you could never forget ' High Heel and the Sneakers '.

Ally McBeelzebub was a band my wife and I "started" about 12 years ago. I wrote one song and recorded it on my 4-track; it's an instrumental called "Quit Pinching my Assprin (I've got a splitting headache)". We were going to call our first album "Satan in a Three-Piece". Unfortunately, not many people below the age of 30 get the reference, so it wouldn't work that well today.
