Yes it is...I'm actually lucky enough to be friends with a Sandberg rep...it was affectionately called "Sybill" and has since found a home with IIRC the bassist for Jason Aldean...

Played great and every little detail, including screws in the pick guard were "aged"

I am going to have to disagree. I have a much cooler headstock...mine is painted to match the body, and that ugly fender logo is nowhere to be seen

yeah, but their failure to make it match the body just ruins the looks

It makes it "look" like a mass produced slapped on neck/headstock...Even BC Rich could make their cheap junk 80s basses with matching headstocks

No, it's a Sanberg. I think they made it to show off at NAMM but everyone loved it so much they've released a production model

Wow, did ibanez actually make this?

As someone pointed out in an earlier post, it's an Ibanez Black Eagle. They made them for around 5 yerars, though I don't think they made many, as you don't see them often.
