Schools testing in England looks problematic. As ever, kids have to go to school to get their test, creating a potential superspreader event even if they send home anyone with a positive test. The tests will be lateral flow (higher false negative rate, especially with Omicron). Also, 'at least one' test is being offered for an unspecified period, so that means next week there may be no testing. I can understand the desire to keep schools open, but it lacks in execution. At least masks are back on the table (or rather back on faces).
