Hi fellow bassists,
I recently received a second hand Cort Curbow 4 FL and I'm surprised how low the volume is, specially when the EQ is engaged. As I switch away from the Slap mode the volume drops significantly. It is substantially lower than my passive basses. The Slap mode is acceptable, but when I switch to EQ, I have to crack up the volume to the max and the gain of my amps to higher than I ever do on any passive bass.
I played with the gain screw in the back and I believe it's already on max.
I found a few threads on which people shared similar experiences but with no clear solution.
Any idea?
