Cort RB5: How much can I expect to sell it for

Hey everyone, yes this is my first post here.

Anyway i bought a Cort RB5 not long ago and for whatever reason ive decided i dont really have a use for it (i realised i never play it). I bought it mainly because i wanted to get into writing/playing more solo style, melodic and chord bassed songs on the bass, but that passion has kind of gone away as ive turned to guitar and piano to fulfill this style (yes because it is easier on those intruments).

Anyway i was wondering what the re-sale price of this would be. Its in perfect condition and i still have the original box it came in, if that makes a difference.

Also i'm in australia, so shipping might bite into my sale price a bit.

For those who dont know about the RB5 here is some info:

I saw a used one go on ebay for $439US. This isn't bad, given that new ones are $559 US, if you know where to shop. There are a few listed on ebay in the $795 range, but they aren't going anywhere. These are GREAT basses. I have one, love it.

I would think that $450 may be the top you could expect, in near mint condition.

They are fine basses, but resale on Corts is low.

Thanks for the replies. I was under the impression that these basses were no longer produced, so are these basses still being sold in the states? Are they just stock yet to be sold, or still being produced?

Id think that once u cant buy the RB5 new from stores the price for a 2nd hand one like mine could go up a bit more...

I just bought a used one for $550 but the TB'er sent me pics of the actual bass I'd be getting. All the online retailers just say- "All the basses are pretty similar in appearance and we won't unpack it for pics unless you pay first " ??!??!!

For me is was worth paying a little more for a used bass since I could "see" it before I sent my money.

But the $450-550 USD range is what I was willing to pay.
