Hello all:

Just wanted to say I have really enjoyed all of you here on TalkBass since my acceptance into the website.

That might be coming to an end for me...I have a court date on October 14th. I may lose my freedom on this day. All because of a stupid argument with my wife. The details will be left out for obvious legal reasons. Needless to say I am innocent.

I am facing these charges..and I am fighting them. I hope to win my case. If not, well, there's your answer for you.

Your prayers will be very appreciated! Your support means a lot! If no one hears back from me by Thursday night... :bawl:you'll know what that means. Thanks!

Will raise you up in prayer tonight, that the Lord will give you comfort and peace in your mind and heart and that the truth about the charges against you will be brought forth. Also, that He will give the judge discernment in hearing this case.

I can definitely empathize with you there...love and family will make you do and say some crazy things that you never thought yourself capable of. I hope it works out for you. I'll keep you in my prayers

I'm sorry that you're facing this most terrifying experience. I will remember you. I'll pray that the Lord makes His will your will and His desire your desire. That you'll have peace with whatever outcome you receive. I'll pray that He exposes and upholds the truth and that He will show you His will for you in all this.
Remember Joseph was innocent also and God used him in great ways because of his time in prison. Personally, I hope you don't have to endure that and I will pray on your behalf.

Sure we get the "benefit of doubt". Everyone always "doubts" a guy's version of the issue at hand.

My point is that guys are always perceived to be the villains in most relationship breakups or breakdowns.

In my case, the issue is much larger because if I lose my freedom, it's the end of my marriage. I have discussed that I need her support at this time. She says I have it. How she may back me up and what is believed is up for grabs on Thursday.
