Double Bass Crack repair :(

I just got a bass a few months ago and it's already been through hell and back. during the winter I got cracks by the tail piece on the top of the bass. I had them fixed. But now i have a new crack. I gig regularly (five to seven days a week) and I was taking my bass out of my car yesterday and the handle slipped and it got dropped on the concrete. There are about 2.5 tiny crack on the bottom of the back of my bass... but one of these small cracks goes through the seam.

My bass is a fully carved (poplar) and was made about a year ago. Do you the the repair will involve the luthier to have to take off the back of my bass? also can this affect the sound of my bass?

I love my baby and i try to take good care of her :(
