If they play well and are tight, sure, maybe... If they're more garage band level, and you have to put up with wearing makeup, costume and play a part, that might be more than someone would want to endure. I mean, it practically is to begin with, but if it was this amazing pro, tight band, it could be intriguing to be part of that.

Yes! Kinda not cool to make fun of people because they’re doing something different. Not sure why OP felt the need to post the cl ad. For all we know it could be a totally professional situation.

Laugh if you want, but this is a fairly clear and concise CL ad that gives a pretty good idea of what you are walking into and expectations. That makes it better than 98% of the band ads you see on Craig's

This is exactly what I was thinking. It seems the OP just wants to mock people for being in a certain genre. That's too bad. If I was in the area, I'd seriously consider this. It looks like fun.

I generally cannot even watch horror movies (or even hospital programs/films). If part of their performance will be to air clips behind the band, I'll be terrified to turn around. If I do, I might feel nauseous. So I'm probably not a good fit for the band.
