Yeah, kinda tone deaf in 1981, considering that the Gacy thing had come down just a couple of years before, but I have the feeling that “Mr. Bat” was not that media savvy. Clowns are always creepy, except for Puddles. He rocks…

It’s quite the punk rock thing, or similar to G’n’R covering that Charles Manson song. I think there’s an album or two with Gacy artwork, I’ll have to do some research and get back to you.
